LGBTQIA+

This is the acronym most commonly used in the United States to address the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The acronym can vary in a number of ways, including LGBT and GLBT, and now includes additional letters, such as Q (queer; also questioning); A (straight ally) or Asexual; and I (intersex) along with the +symbol to denote everything on the gender and sexuality spectrum that letters and words cannot yet describe.
